Hopefully you’re here as you’re just a little bit excited about your wedding and me photographing it for you…

So here are some of the facts and figures for y’all…

In terms of wedding photography pricing, I keep everything as simple as possible with one package which you can then add to.
However, I understand that every wedding is unique, so if you’d like me to tailor make a package for you, just give me a call, we can discuss your day and work out a plan together.

Lucy absolutely blew us away with her photographic work.  She was quite simply the best value of all the things we paid for for our wedding.

FAQ’s

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?

I have a creative natural, relaxed reportage style. Having studied Documentary Photography in New York & Photojournalism in London,  I use this storytelling style on your wedding day capturing everything as it happens.  The only time I offer direction is during your formal group and couple photos, just so that we can get those done nice and speedily and with a sense of humour so that everyone enjoys the experience and feels comfortable.  I also work like a trouper… to bring energy and my wedding photography experience to your day, so that I can take the best darned photos each time.

DO I NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER ON THE DAY?

If you have more than 100 guests, or the wedding is spread over more than one venue and you would like coverage of everything going on through the day, I would say yes.  The second photographer adds another dimension to the wedding photos and between us we can ensure that all aspects of the day are captured.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Yes – I’m always happy to travel and have covered weddings all over the UK & overseas.  Reasonable travel costs are charged if you are more than an hour’s drive from where I live in Suffolk.  If you need me to give you a bespoke quote on the travel costs, please contact me and I will put this together for you.  Fuel is charged at £0.45 per mile.

WHAT IF YOU ARE ILL ON THE DAY?

I have been shooting weddings for over 14 years and have not missed a wedding as yet.. However, in more recent times, with the risk of cheeky viruses around and about, if I am unable to shoot the wedding, then I have a great network of photographers – and I will ensure that someone fabulous is there in my stead.

WHAT IF WE HAVE TO POSTPONE BECAUSE OF THE DREADED C....?

If you have to postpone, let me know as soon as possible and I will hopefully be able to just move the date and will be happy to put your booking fee towards that, so that the same balance is due a week before the wedding.  Unfortunately the booking fee is non-refundable, so if you choose a date that I can’t make for some reason, then you can put that payment towards a family shoot, engagement shoot or something else delicious so that you don’t miss out.

WHEN DO YOU START / FINISH SHOOTING?

I usually arrive about 2-3 hours before the wedding ceremony to cover the bridal preparations – whilst my second shooter (if booked) covers the groom before, usher’s lunch, guests arriving, etc.  I usually leave about an hour or so after the first dance, to ensure I get some good party pics too and the whole story of the day has been told – but leave before people start melting…

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes indeed, I have Public Liability insurance covering me up to £2 million and Professional Indemnity insurance.

DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS?

Yes, I edit all of the photos individually using Lightroom and Photoshop to ensure a consistently beautiful style throughout.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

LOTS!  For a full day’s coverage, I usually deliver approximately 950 High Resolution Photos – or more…

HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

I send a collage of photos within 2-3 days as a quick preview of your wedding day.  I then ask for between 4-6 weeks to deliver the rest.  I know what it’s like – you can’t wait, so I do the best I can to deliver your photos as soon as I can, but without rushing as the post production is a vital part of the process which I concentrate on to make sure your photos are the best they can be.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WEDDING?

I usually deliver a few photos within the first week as a quick preview for you to remind you that it did actually happen – and then it usually takes approximately 4-6 weeks for me to complete the edit and share the full gallery with you. The full high resolution images are delivered in an online password protected gallery which gives you the option of making any of the photos private, before you share the gallery with your friends and family.  You, your family and friends can then download high resolution copies direct from the gallery and order professional prints direct too.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK?

I limit the amount of weddings I shoot to 25 a year, so that I can give each couple the individual attention that I feel each wedding requires, so I would recommend booking as soon as you can to avoid missing out.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?

If you want to book me, which is a fabulous thing to do, please just let me know!

I will send you a booking form to find out a few more details about your wedding day along with an invoice for the £500 booking fee.  Once this booking fee is paid, I hold the date for you in my diary.  It’s as simple as that.

A few weeks before your wedding day, we meet up (if location and time allows) or have a video chat to go over the final details of your day – including the schedule and list of formal group photos, so that we’re all set.

The balance is due a week before your wedding and by then I will know everything I need to about you, and you will know all about me, so that all you have to do is get on with your wedding day, whilst I capture it all.

So please GET IN TOUCH and we can go from there.
